The experiment is inspired by the artists' research into Arabic shadow
theatre (Khayal al Zill) in Cairo in spring 2017. Similar to the streets
of Cairo the installation is lacking a shadow player as an animating
story teller behind the white curtain. What kind of theatre is created
when the printing of a text becomes the role of the mover and director?
